JUSTIN BOGLE & AUTOTRADER/YOSHIMURA/SUZUKI FACTORY RACING TEAM READY TO TAKE ON MONSTER ENERGY CUP // JUSTIN BOGLE TO MAKE DEBUT ON ALL-NEW 2018 SUZUKI RM-Z450 THIS SATURDAY IN LAS VEGAS, NEV.

October 10, 2017

Brea, CA (October 10, 2017) – The Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team and Justin Bogle are prepared to make a grand entrance this Saturday, October 14th, at the richest off-season Supercross race of the year – the Monster Energy Cup. Located on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nev., Sam Boyd Stadium plays host to the seventh annual Monster Energy Cup, where there will be an opportunity for a racer to earn a cool $1 million.

Saturday’s affair is notable for several important reasons. The Monster Energy Cup marks the first race for the recently formed Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team. Announced in the beginning of August, the unification solidified Suzuki’s commitment to racing, while providing added support for the tenured race operation in JGRMX. Additionally, the one-of-a-kind event format will be Justin Bogle’s first race with the team. The Oklahoma native will debut the all-new 2018 Suzuki RM-Z450, while mechanic Ben Schiermeyer will be spinning the wrenches on the #19 machine.

“The Monster Energy Cup is a perfect opportunity to kick-start a new chapter in my professional racing career,” stated Justin Bogle. “I’m ready to do battle as part of the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team. In the past month alone I’ve logged countless laps at the JGRMX facility in North Carolina, as well as down in Florida at the GOAT Farm. I feel confident heading into this weekend and look forward to the challenge ahead. We have developed a solid baseline, and I’m eager to test the new Suzuki RM-Z450 in a race situation.”

Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team manager Jeremy Albrecht sees several benefits in racing the Monster Energy Cup. “This race allows the team to strengthen its rapport with Justin Bogle and see where we stand in the months leading up to the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series,” explained Albrecht. “Justin looks focused on the all-new Suzuki RM-Z450. He quickly regained his Supercross form after only a few days on the test track. We’re rolling into the Monster Energy Cup ready to perform.”

The 2017 Monster Energy Cup will be broadcast live in its entirety on Fox Sports 2 at 9:30 p.m. EST, with a pre-show on FS2 at 9:00 p.m. EST. A global live stream of the action will be shown online at www.supercrosslive.tv.
